Triumph At Pimlico

This piece, for orchestra, depicts the final stages and resulting celebrations of a race between two competitors where the underdog emerges victorious. The opening triumpantly announces the underdog as he pulls away from his competitor, before the big crescendo as he crosses the finish line as the victor, musically announced by the main theme in the violins.
